Based on the requirements of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 5, 2020 No. UP 6079 “On approval of the strategy “Digital Uzbekistan-2030” and measures for its effective implementation,” a meeting was held on May 16 of this year at the Electromagnetic Compatibility Service of the Republic of Karakalpakstan under the leadership of the regional sector of the Ministry of Digital technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the regional branch of the Inspectorate "Uzkomnazorat" of the Republic of Karakalpakstan with the participation of heads of regional divisions, branches and technical engineers of mobile operators.
Based on the results of studying mobile communications coverage areas along the international highway A-380, passing through the territory of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, it was proposed to build new base stations in places with insufficient mobile Internet coverage and lack of voice communications. There was also a discussion of long-term plans for the development of mobile communications. At the end of the meeting, the territorial sector of the Ministry of Digital Technologies for the Republic of Karakalpakstan set appropriate tasks and made proposals to regional representatives of mobile operators to improve the quality of the provided mobile communications and mobile Internet services.
Also, the head of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Service of the Republic of Karakalpakstan informed all meeting participants about the new services of the State Unitary Enterprise “CEMС”. During the meeting, detailed answers to all questions from the participants were given.
