Functions of the center
Being the only specialized enterprise in the country for civil radio frequency administration, basic functions of the Center include:
- issuance of permits for the right to use the radio frequency spectrum;
- examination of the electromagnetic compatibility of radio-electronic means;
- monitoring of radio-frequency spectrum;
- elimination of radio interference;
- maintenance and continuous improvement of the automated database systems of radio frequency assignments and electromagnetic compatibility calculations;
- implementation of the norms of international law, resolutions and recommendations of the ITU and other international organizations in the field of radio frequency spectrum use.
