Today, April 9, an event dedicated to the 688th anniversary of the birth of the great Amir Temur took place. At the foot of the monument to Amir Temur in the capital, government and public figures, poets and writers, scientists, community activists, students and students, representatives of labor collectives, the media and the public gathered.
First, all participants in the event were greeted by National Guard cadets lined up around the monument.
At the beginning of the event, the Chairman of the Amir Temur International Charitable Public Fund, People's Writer of Uzbekistan Muhammad Ali made an opening speech. After this, the commander of the Central Military District, Colonel Farrukh Ziyabayev, considered the “Battle Banner of Amir Temur,” spoke. It was said about the role and importance of the establishment by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev of the “Battle Banner of Amir Temur,” which is important in increasing the combat readiness and high spiritual potential of the defenders of our Motherland.
During the event, WBA world champion in professional boxing Isroil Madrimov spoke. He spoke about the opportunities being created in our country for the development of sports and about his achievements.
Then the director of the Uzbek National Academic Drama Theater, People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Yodgor Sadiev spoke, who expressively read Amir Temur’s monologue from the play “Season of Justice” staged at the National Theater.
Performances were shown from the Ministry of Defense system's "Honor Guard" unit and the battle group.
Also, the chairman of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, poet Gairat Majid and students of the Temurbekov school read together the poem “Sahibkiron Generation”.
At the end of the event, the song “For the Nation, for the Motherland” was performed and a ceremony of laying flowers at the foot of the monument to Amir Temur took place. At this ceremony, employees of the State Unitary Enterprise "CEMС" also laid flowers at the monument to Amir Temur.
