A new Plug and Play office opened in Tashkent

Plug and Play is the worldʼs largest global innovation platform that connects startups, corporations, venture capital firms, universities and government agencies.

The event was attended by Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov, partner of Plug and Play Tech Center Sasha Karimpour, founder and director of Plug and Play Uzbekistan Felix Lammers.

Foreign partners and more than 300 entrepreneurs, investors and experts also took part.

Opening an office in Uzbekistan will help create more opportunities for local corporations and agencies, as well as accelerate the development of start-ups in the country. Additionally, cooperation with Plug and Play will help local startups enter the international market.

The event also featured panel discussions on FinTech and InsureTech.

“Plug and Play” offers corporate innovation programs and assists corporate partners at every stage of their innovation path, from learning to implementation.
