In the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbek occupies a special place as the official language. During the years of independence, along with all other areas, large-scale reforms were implemented aimed at improving the efficiency of office work in the state language and spiritual and educational activities, as well as developing the intellectual and spiritual potential of the population, especially young people.
As we all know, the Law "On the State Language of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was adopted in our country. Assigning the Uzbek language the status of an official language in accordance with this law has become one of the most important steps towards the national independence of our people.
On the initiative of the esteemed President, October 21 was declared the "Uzbek Language Holiday Day" in our country. Uzbek is the official language of a country with a great history called Uzbekistan. This means that the state language is also considered one of the symbols of any state.
The speech of the Head of our state from the rostrum of the United Nations in Uzbek, the foreign visits of Uzbek delegations, the sound of our anthem in the official language — Uzbek — in honor of the worthy victories of our athletes cannot but cause us a sense of pride.
Increasing the authority of the Uzbek language in the public life of our people and in the international arena, educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, loyalty to national traditions and values is of great importance. Conducting office work in Uzbek is not only a legal obligation, but also a manifestation of the desire to preserve national identity.
