An online meeting was held on the topic "Technological solutions of the smart agriculture system"

On November 20 of this year, an online meeting was held on the topic "Technological solutions of the smart agriculture system."

Representatives of large Japanese companies Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Qunie Corporation, as well as heads and specialists of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the meeting, which took place in the format of videoconference.

The main purpose of this conference is the issues of cooperation and familiarization with foreign experience in the framework of automation and digitalization of agriculture in the republic, conducting scientific and practical research in this area.

The agricultural production sphere of Japan is characterized by the complex penetration of information and communication technologies at all levels: planning and processing of land, planting, irrigation, cultivation, collection, processing, storage, transportation and sale of agricultural goods, and others.

The role and importance of digital technologies in the management of agricultural machinery, their use in transportation and other mechanical work is especially growing. Robot tractors and exoskeletons make it easier to carry loads, while drones for land monitoring and other technologies optimize the use of limited and valuable resources - water, seeds, fertilizers, fuels and lubricants.

During the meeting, information was given on the essence and content of digital platforms, which are widely used in the Land of the Rising Sun in terms of providing information services to farmers - providing information about the weather, land conditions and other important information.

It should be noted that our republic pays great attention to the issues of digitalization of the agrarian sector. Today, a number of agricultural clusters and farms of the republic use modern agricultural machinery and technologies of smart agriculture. Along with this, there is still a high need for wider introduction and use of such technologies.

At the event, specialists from Toyota Tsusho Corporation and Qunie Corporation gave recommendations based on their many years of experience in the development, implementation and use of innovative technology and software in this direction.

During the meeting, the projects implemented in this direction, features of the implementation and practical use of technologies and systems of smart agriculture in Japan were highlighted.

Following the meeting, the participants agreed to continue negotiations in the field of cooperation in relevant areas, joint study of opportunities for the introduction of the materials and technologies provided in the republic.
