Based on requests from mobile operators to the Electromagnetic Compatibility Service of the Bukhara region for the elimination of radio interference, radio monitoring activities were carried out. During the conducted radio monitoring activities, it was found that repeaters that amplify the signals of mobile communication networks used by citizens of the Bukhara region create radio interference to mobile base stations. In order to eliminate negative radio interference, the owners of repeaters that amplify the signals of mobile communication networks have been warned and their use has been prohibited.
In accordance with the decision of the Republican Council on Radio Frequencies No. 707 dated August 23, 2022, the development, modernization, production, import and use of relay devices that amplify mobile network signals that do not meet technical conditions in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan is strictly prohibited.
Repeater users should take all necessary organizational and technical measures to prevent radio interference from their devices to the networks of mobile operators.
