In order to ensure the implementation of Resolution No. 801 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 22, 2020, in May of this year, an operational event was held in the basement of the Mega Planet shopping center, located on Ahmad Donish Street in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent, together with employees of the Yunusabad District Police Department and specialists from the State Unitary Enterprise Center for Electromagnetic Adaptation.
As a result of the operational measures carried out during the inspection of a Lasetti car belonging to B.Eminzhonov, a resident of the Uchkuprik district of the Ferghana region, with the participation of witnesses, 189 Baofeng BF-888S radio electronic devices and 10 Baofeng BF-C2 radio electronic devices, as well as 2 radio electronic devices, were found and seized in the trunk of the car. Baofeng is in a faulty condition, which are currently being illegally imported and sold into the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan without the appropriate permits from the radio frequency surveillance authorities.
In connection with the revealed violation, employees of the Yunusabad district police Department of the city of Tashkent, with the participation of witnesses, temporarily seized electronic warfare equipment and, in accordance with the procedure established by law, sent materials to the concerned agency for taking action.
