Another training seminar was held at the customs border post “Urgench - Airport” of the Customs Administration for the Khorezm region

In order to prevent the illegal import into the territory of the Khorezm region through the Urgench international airport of all types of radio-electronic equipment and high-frequency devices, at the customs border post “Urgench - Airport” of the Customs Administration on October 31, 2023, engineers of the EMC Service of the Khorezm region A. Palezov and Kh. Matusupov conducted another training seminar.

During the seminar, information was given on the changes made to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 801 dated December 22, 2020 in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 417 dated August 23, 2023, as well as joint work based on the newly introduced procedures.

In addition, regulatory documents related to ensuring electromagnetic compatibility of REM on the territory of the region were reviewed, and the names “List of short-range radio-electronic equipment, the import, sale and use of which on the territory of the republic is carried out without issuing permits from radio frequency authorities”, approved by RCRF Decision No. 707 “On the use of repeater devices on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan that amplify signals from mobile communication networks.” During the training seminar, the legal requirements regarding the industry and the implementation of joint interaction were explained, and information was also provided on the operation of mobile signal amplification devices (repeaters), which are currently widespread and used mainly among citizens, as well as on the types and names of radio stations in illegal use. Answers were given to questions from customs department employees in the area of interest.
