On December 5 of this year, specialists from the Radio Monitoring and Technical Development Service of the State Unitary Enterprise “Center for Electromagnetic Compatibility” held an operational event together with law enforcement agencies.

In pursuance of the requirements specified in the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 22, 2020 No. 801 “On regulation in the field of use of the radio frequency spectrum and the use of radio electronic equipment and high-frequency devices”, Appendix No. 3 (Regulations on the interaction of ministries and departments in organizing control over compliance with the order acquisition (transfer), sale and (or) installation (construction), import from abroad and use of radio-electronic equipment and high-frequency devices, as well as when eliminating radio interference on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan), On December 5 of this year, in the Abu Sahiy Trade Center, located in the Chilanzar district of Tashkent, specialists from the Radio Monitoring and Technical Development Service of the State Unitary Enterprise “Center for Electromagnetic Compatibility” held an operational event together with employees of the territorial department of the Tashkent City Inspectorate for control in the field information and telecommunications under the Ministry of Digital Technologies and employees of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Chilanzar district of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the city of Tashkent.

As a result of the operational activity carried out in the Abu Sahiy Trade Center, 122 units of illegally sold (for commercial purposes, without appropriate permits) radio-electronic equipment were identified, of which 68 units. brand “Baofeng BF-888S”, 52 pcs. brand “Baofeng BF-999S” and 2 pcs. “Baofeng UV-5R”. Employees of the DCA IAB of the Chilanzor District, with the participation of witnesses, drew up a protocol on the collection of material evidence and the radio-electronic equipment was temporarily seized.

Documents drawn up in connection with the detected offenses were transferred to the Inspectorate for Control in the Field of Informatization and Telecommunications under the Ministry of Digital Technologies for further administrative measures to be taken in the prescribed manner.
