Delegation from the Republic of Korea Visits the Center for Electromagnetic Compatibility

On 8 July 2026, the Center for Electromagnetic Compatibility under the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan welcomed an official delegation from the Central Radio Management Service (CRMS) of the Republic of Korea.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of radio frequency spectrum management, radio monitoring, exchange of expertise, and professional capacity building. Particular attention was given to the development of satellite radio monitoring, the improvement of radio frequency spectrum monitoring methods, and the expansion of cooperation through international conferences and specialized organizations.

Following the negotiations, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Center for Electromagnetic Compatibility under the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Central Radio Management Service (CRMS) of the Republic of Korea. The Memorandum outlines the main areas of future cooperation, including the exchange of best practices, implementation of joint projects, professional training, and enhanced cooperation in radio monitoring and the efficient use of the radio frequency spectrum.

The signing of the Memorandum marks an important milestone in strengthening the partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea, creating new opportunities for the exchange of expertise, the adoption of advanced technologies, and the further development of international cooperation in the field of radio frequency spectrum management.
