On March 5 of this year, a meeting was held at the SUE CEMS under the leadership of Deputy heads A.Kadyrov and A.Hashimkhodzhaev, with the participation of an antimonopoly compliance specialist V.Guseinov and members of the Public Procurement Commission.
During the meeting, the instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh.M.Mirziyoyev, were discussed in detail at an expanded meeting of the National Council for Combating Corruption in the direction of further improving the public procurement system based on best practices using artificial intelligence, as well as streamlining the procurement of goods from budgetary and extra-budgetary funds.
Special attention is paid to strict compliance with the requirements of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Competition" and "On Public Procurement" and other regulatory legal acts regulating competition and antitrust measures.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place, and specific measures are planned to be implemented to further optimize the activities of the Public Procurement Commission and improve departmental regulatory documents in this area.
