From April 23 to April 25, 2025, large-scale command and staff exercises are being held in the Bakhmali district of the Jizzakh region on the topic: "Actions of territorial and functional subsystems of the state emergency prevention and response system to protect the population and territories from natural and man-made emergencies."
At the beginning of the event, reports from the heads of the State Emergency Management System on preparedness for possible emergencies were heard. A drill review was also held with the participation of all participants in the exercises.
As part of the exercises, measures were taken at several training points to bring the forces and equipment of the relevant management bodies into an enhanced mode of operation, as well as to carry out emergency rescue and other urgent work.
During the exercises, practical measures were carried out to deploy a first aid unit at the district medical association, receive a large number of victims and send them to safe zones.
These exercises contribute to the improvement of coordinated actions in conditions as close as possible to real emergency situations.
