Honesty is the foundation of the rule of law
In the modern world, corruption is recognized as one of the main threats to the political, economic and social stability of any state. This phenomenon undermines justice in the public administration system, destroys the trust of citizens and damages the legal order. In this regard, the fight against corruption should be considered not only as a task of law enforcement agencies, but also as the moral duty of every responsible employee.
To this end, on July 24, 2025, the Electromagnetic Compatibility Service of the Andijan region held a spiritual and educational conversation on the topic "Corruption is a social evil that entails criminal liability."
During the event, the speakers emphasized that corruption is not just a moral downfall, but a criminally punishable act strictly prohibited by law. In particular, the Criminal Code provides for harsh penalties for bribery, abuse of office, conflicts of interest and other similar offenses.
The meeting participants paid attention to the following issues:
• Socio-psychological roots of corruption and its negative consequences;
• The importance of transparency and accountability in public service;
• Strengthening the principles of honesty and responsibility in professional activities;
• The need to develop anti-corruption immunity among young people.
The round table was held in an open and trusting atmosphere. Discussing the issue, the participants noted that legal culture and personal citizenship play an important role in the formation of intolerance to corruption in society.
At the end of the event, all participants agreed that building a fair, honest and clean society is impossible without the active participation of every citizen in the fight against corruption and awareness of personal responsibility in this process.
