Corruption is one of the global problems that needs to be solved at the global level. This phenomenon causes serious damage to the political and economic development of any State and society, as well as leads to violations of human rights and freedoms. Therefore, the fight against corruption is of international importance. Currently, the fight against corruption is one of the urgent problems in our republic.
In our country, a number of important regulatory legal acts have been adopted aimed at improving legal mechanisms to combat and prevent corruption.
In accordance with this, a legal framework for combating corruption was established in our republic, and on January 3, 2017, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Combating Corruption" was adopted. After that, a number of regulatory documents identified measures to prevent and eliminate corruption.
According to this Law, the main directions of state policy in the field of combating corruption in our country are to increase the legal awareness and legal culture of the population, as well as the implementation of measures to prevent corruption in all spheres of state and public life.
Thus, not only government agencies are responsible for combating this social evil, but also the entire society as a whole, as well as every citizen of our vast Homeland.
