Employees of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Service of the Namangan region carried out radio monitoring activities in the region. During radio monitoring activities, a working repeater - a mobile signal amplifier - was discovered located in the community Yangi Bogishamol, Chust district, Namangan region.
It turned out that this device interferes with the quality operation of base stations of mobile operators. In order to eliminate radio interference, a warning letter was sent to the owner of the repeater that amplifies signals from mobile networks, and the use of the repeater was discontinued.
In accordance with the decision of the Republican Council on Radio Frequencies No. 707 of August 23, 2022, the development (creation), modernization, production, import from abroad (purchase from abroad) and the use of relay devices that amplify signals of mobile communication networks that do not meet the technical requirements conditions on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan are strictly prohibited.
