On April 3 of this year, another hour of legal training was conducted through the ZOOM platform for employees of the central office of the SUE "Center for Electromagnetic Compatibility", Electromagnetic Compatibility Services of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the regions.

During the training hour, B.Abdurakhmanov, a Category 1 engineer from the Radio Frequency Assignment Coordination Department, explained in detail the topic "Modern mobile communication technologies".

Mobile technologies have undergone significant development, evolving from the first analog networks to modern 5G and the promising 6G standards. The advancement of these technologies has had a profound impact on society, business, and urban infrastructure.
The history of mobile communication is divided into several generations:
• 1G (1970s-1980s) – Analog networks providing only voice communication.
• 2G (1990s) – Transition to digital technologies, support for SMS and basic internet services.
• 3G (2000s) – Introduction of broadband mobile internet and video calls.
• 4G (2010s) – High-speed data transmission, live video streaming, and cloud services.
• 5G (2020s) – Ultra-high speeds, minimal latency, support for IoT, and new digital services.
Fifth-generation networks provide significant advantages:
• Data transmission speed – Up to 20 Gbit/s, enabling faster content downloads.
• Reduced latency – Less than 1 ms, crucial for autonomous vehicles and medical technologies.
• Support for a large number of devices – 5G can serve millions of gadgets per square kilometer.
• New business models – Virtual reality, smart cities, and automated industries.
Modern mobile networks utilize Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and Software-Defined Networking (SDN), allowing for more flexible network management. These technologies reduce infrastructure costs and improve network efficiency.
Although the 6G standard has not yet been developed, it is expected to use frequencies ranging from 30 GHz to 3 THz. Key characteristics include:
• Data transmission speed – Up to 1 Tbit/s, enabling instant downloads of massive data volumes.
• Minimal latency – Around 0.1 ms, ensuring near-instant response times.
• Energy efficiency – Lower power consumption for devices and base stations.
Mobile technologies are evolving rapidly, transforming our daily lives. 5G networks are already introducing new opportunities for businesses and society, while 6G promises revolutionary changes in speed, quality, and convenience.
