On February 22 of this year, another hour of legal training was conducted through the ZOOM platform for employees of the central office of the State Unitary Enterprise “Center for Electromagnetic Compatibility”, Electromagnetic Compatibility Services of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regions.
At this training hour, Chief Legal Adviser U.S. Sangirov explained the content of the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Administrative Responsibility.
Legislation on administrative responsibility consists of this Code, laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, laws of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, resolutions of the Jokargy Kenes and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, decisions of regional and Tashkent city People's Councils deputies, khokims of regions and the city of Tashkent.
The provisions of this Code also apply to administrative offenses, liability for the commission of which is provided for by acts of legislation not included in this Code.
Legislation on administrative responsibility has as its objectives the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens, property, state and public order, the natural environment, ensuring social justice and legality in the interests of the well-being of individuals and society, timely and objective consideration of cases of administrative offenses, as well as the prevention of these offenses, education of citizens in the spirit of compliance with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
To carry out these tasks, this Code determines what action or inaction is an administrative offense, what administrative penalty, by what body (official) and in what order can be applied to the person who committed the administrative offense and executed.
