On January 22, 2024, a training seminar was held for SEMC employees of the Khorezm region with the participation of senior lecturer of the information security department of the Urgench branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad Al-Khorezmi Turdiev Temur Takhirovich and trainee teacher Azizbek Pirnazarovich Khayitbaev on practical work to ensure information security in enterprises . During the seminar, information was presented that information protection is a pressing issue for every enterprise today. The damage caused by information security incidents can significantly impact the fate of an organization. As we have already noted, one of the means of effectively organizing information security in an organization is the implementation of an information security policy.
Information security policy is a set of measures, rules and principles that employees of an enterprise or organization apply in their daily practice to protect their information resources.
We can say that information security today is rising to the level of the most important element in the development of the digital economy of our republic. Without the deep introduction of an information security culture into all areas of activity of commercial organizations and government agencies of the country, it is impossible to expand electronic cooperation between market participants and the widespread use of new information technologies. Information security policy, which is the most effective means of improving the information security culture in organizations, remains an important factor in modern conditions. In addition, with the increasing digitalization of economic processes and public administration in our country, the role of information security policy is increasing.
