From March 11 to March 15, 2024, the 25th meeting of the RCC Commission for Regulation of the Use of Radio Frequency Spectrum and Satellite Orbits (RCC and CO Commission), as well as meetings of its working groups on preparation for the World Radiocommunication Conference, is being held in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia. and the Radiocommunication Assembly 2027
(WG WRC-27/AR-27), on radio frequency spectrum management (WG TV), on radio broadcasting (WG RB) and the project group of the RCC Communications Administrations to develop proposals for additional channels to the digital terrestrial television broadcasting plan " Geneva-06" in the frequency range 470-694 MHz (WG DTV).
The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the RCC Commission on Radiological Emergency Situations and Emergency Response Valery Vladimirovich Butenko. Congratulatory and welcoming speeches were made by: Deputy Minister of High-Technological Industry of the Republic of Armenia Avet Vilyamovich Poghosyan, General Director of the RCC Executive Committee Alexey Sergeevich Borodin, Head of the Mobile and Fixed Communications Department of the RCC Radio Communications Bureau Bogens Karlis Karlovich and Head of the Satellite Communications Department Timur Danilovich Kadyrov.
More than 80 representatives of the communications administrations of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Turkmenistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the RCC Executive Committee and several international organizations take part in the meetings.
At the meetings of the RCC Commission and its Working Groups, it is planned to consider current issues of radio communications, the state of development of digital terrestrial television in the RCC countries, prepared contributions to WRC-27 from the RCC Communications Administrations on 30 issues on the agenda of WRC-27, on the allocation of radio frequency bands on various conditions to the Regulations radio communications, which is considered an international agreement, without destroying the advanced technologies of current technologies, about 20 important issues, such as coordination of frequencies of border countries in areas with difficult terrain, implemented and planned IMT systems in the RSS communications departments.
Specialists from the Ministry of Digital Technologies, State Unitary Enterprise "CEMC", LLC "UNICON.UZ", State Unitary Enterprise "RTNCC" take part in the events from the Republic of Uzbekistan.
