In accordance with the Decision of the Republican Council on Radio Frequencies dated August 23, 2022 No. 707 on compliance with the procedure for the development, modernization, production, import from abroad and use in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan of non-compliant repeater devices that enhance the signal of mobile communication networks, and based on information received from mobile operators operating on the territory of the Ferghana region, to the Electromagnetic Compatibility Service of the Ferghana region of applications for the elimination of radio interference, On July 1 of this year, engineers from the Electromagnetic Compatibility Service, together with Uzkomnazorat of the Ferghana region, conducted operational activities in the city of Ferghana. During the operational measures carried out on the territory of the Ferghana region, it was revealed that the cause of radio interference caused by mobile base stations was a repeater device that amplifies mobile communication signals installed in the city of Ferghana along 43 Marifat Street and used by an employee of the Treasure Island Tavern organization of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.
In order to eliminate radio interference, a warning letter was sent to the owner of the repeater, which amplifies the signal of mobile communication networks, and the use of the repeater was discontinued.
