Hydroposts are equipped with modern water metering devices designed to transmit water consumption data to the central server via mobile operators' communication services.

During the measurements, mobile coverage and mobile internet coverage of mobile operators in the region, as well as signal levels in 2G, 3G, and 4G technologies, were measured with visits to the locations of each water checkpoint.
