Surkhandarya Regional (CEMC) engineers, in collaboration with the technical service personnel of the Termez branch of "COSCOM" LLC, conducted practical work to identify the source of radio interference within the city and Shurchi district.
On December 24, 2025, monitoring activities were conducted using a mobile radio monitoring station to identify the source of radio interference affecting the "COSCOM" LLC base stations operating in 3G and 4G standards.
Based on the results of inspections, it was revealed that a mobile repeater (signal amplifier) illegally installed by a citizen residing at Shurchi city, "Barkamol avlod" street, was creating interference in the 3G and 4G networks of "COSCOM" LLC. After the disconnection of this device, the radio interference was completely eliminated.
On this fact, a written warning was handed to citizen J.E. in cooperation with law enforcement agencies regarding the illegal installation of a mobile repiter.
