ITU Meeting on preparation WRC-12.

Radio communication bureau of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) jointly with African telecommunication union has organized the first meeting on preparation for the World radio communication conference - 2012 (WRCC-12) from September 14th till September 16th. The meeting was held in Geneva in the ITU building. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Abubakr Zurmb (Cameroon Republic). 114 delegates took part from 54 countries and 64 delegates from the various international organizations and regional groups in the meeting.  
     There were prepared the presentations of Radio communication bureau representatives about the general situation of preparation process to the Radio communication World conference, presentations about preliminary position on items of WRC-12 from all regional groups and Regional commonwealth in the field of communication (RСС).
     The issues of WRC-12 agenda were distributed on four parts, and there were discussions after the presentation of each issue. The meeting gave opportunity to the participants to exchange opinions about the done researches, concerning the items of WRC-12 agenda, and also about preliminary projects of the general offers, the positions of regional groups and some organizations.

There was organized advisory meeting of RCC representatives and Regional group of Arabian countries on spectrum management (ASMG)) during this event. The parties have exchanged opinion on the items of WRC-12 agenda. There was noted that the views of two regional groups coincided on many issues.
The Communication Administration of Uzbekistan Republic participated in the works of the meeting.
