The Surkhandarya Region SEMC staff held a training seminar for the staff of departments, branches and border customs posts of the Surkhandarya Regional Customs Administration and the border customs posts “Ayritom”, “Sariosiyo”, “Gulbahor”, “Termiz-Airport”, as well as the railway border customs posts “Sariosiyo” and “Boldir”.
The meeting was opened with an opening speech by the Deputy Head of the Customs Department of the Surkhandarya Region, H. Khalbaev. He provided information on the organization and implementation of joint activities with responsible authorities aimed at preventing the illegal import of radio electronic equipment and high-frequency devices into the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan through the customs border.
Also, at this training seminar, the 2nd category engineer of the SEMS of the Surkhandarya region, Nabiyev Samadzhon, spoke and spoke in detail about the procedure for importing radio-electronic devices and high-frequency devices through the customs border of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was noted that when identifying cases of illegal import of radio-electronic means and high-frequency devices into the territory of the region, it is necessary to take measures in accordance with the current legislation. It is also necessary to carry out measures to prevent cases of illegal import of radio-electronic means and high-frequency devices through the customs border of the Republic of Uzbekistan by conducting explanatory work among the population.
Taking into account that there are various types of radio electronic equipment and high-frequency devices, the import of which should be carried out only on the basis of the relevant permission of the radio frequency authority, it is important to organize training seminars on a regular basis with the involvement of specialists from the Electromagnetic Compatibility Service of the Surkhandarya Region to obtain complete information about the devices.
