On May 29, 2025, the Electromagnetic Compatibility Service of Surkhandarya region hosted another round table dedicated to the fight against corruption. The event was organized to raise the legal awareness of employees about the negative consequences of corruption, the factors contributing to its occurrence, and measures to prevent it.
During the meeting, Zh. Islamov, a category 2 network engineer, made a brief presentation on the key reforms being implemented in the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of combating corruption. In particular, he noted the adoption of special regulatory legal acts, the introduction of electronic public services, the policy of an open and transparent budget, as well as the activities of the Anti-Corruption Agency.
At the end of the event, the participants emphasized that the honesty and responsibility of every civil servant plays an important role in the fight against corruption, and such educational meetings bring real benefits.
This event served to enhance the legal culture in the field of combating corruption, strengthen the responsibility of employees and create an intolerant attitude towards this negative phenomenon.
