On May 1 of this year, the State Unitary Enterprise “Center for Electromagnetic Compatibility” received an official delegation from the State Unitary Enterprise “Center for Electromagnetic Compatibility and Radiomonitoring” of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The primary purpose of the visit was to review Uzbekistan’s practical experience in conducting measurement activities related to the use of the radio frequency spectrum, and to discuss issues related to experience exchange in the field of radio monitoring.

As part of the visit, an exchange of experience between specialists from the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan was planned in the following areas:
• organization of radio monitoring systems;
• study of the types of technical tools and equipment used in measurement operations;
• organization of radio control activities in border regions;
• human resources policy and professional development of specialists;
• opportunities for monitoring new types of technologies;
• legislation in the field and international cooperation;
• proposals for advancing bilateral cooperation in the use of the radio frequency spectrum to a new stage.

The organization of such activities contributes to assessing the electromagnetic environment and implementing appropriate measures in the border regions between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, as well as creating a foundation for mutual exchange of practical experience in measurement operations carried out by the specialists of both parties.
