From the earliest stages of the formation of mankind, there was a need for ways to express one’s opinion in different ways. One of the greatest qualities of a person is the ability to express one’s thoughts through language. As a result of this feeling, the attitude towards language was formed. The development of mankind as a nation and people served as the basis for the emergence of the concept of “native language”. Therefore, the history of language, the process of its formation and development cannot be studied separately from the history of the nation.
Based on the requirements of the current stage of modernization of Uzbekistan – the period of national growth, large-scale work is being carried out to further enhance the prestige of our native language.
The adoption of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the establishment of the Uzbek language holiday" on April 10, 2020 became an important document reflecting our high respect for our native language.
On March 3, 2025, a spiritual and educational event on the topic "Attention to language - attention to the people" was organized in the SEMС of the Kashkadarya region. A specialist of the Kashkadarya regional information and library center named after S. Nasafy Ugiloy Atamuradov was invited to the event.
The lecturer gave the participants of the event interesting information, starting from the historical roots of our native language and ending with the process of obtaining the status of the state language.
In conclusion, it should be noted that preserving the native language, increasing its prestige and, most importantly, passing on our language to the next generation in its pure form is one of the most important tasks facing every citizen of Uzbekistan.
