On February 21-23 of current year, a command and staff exercise on the topic "Actions of authorities, territorial and functional subsystems of the State emergency response system" was conducted in Arnasai and Zafarabad districts of Jizzakh region.
It was attended by the heads of the state territorial subsystem of emergency situations, as well as their forces and means. The main purpose of the exercise is to check the readiness and stability of the warning system, to determine the orientation of the territorial subsystem of the State Emergency Service to perform functional tasks in emergency situations, to solve logistical issues when performing rescue operations and other urgent tasks, taking into account the joint efforts of the system services to eliminate the consequences of emergencies.
During the exercises, practical measures such as the deployment of an ambulance detachment at the district medical unit and the reception of a large number of victims, the elimination of emergencies, the prevention of the spread of Covid-19, the search for victims from damaged buildings and their evacuation to a safe zone were taken. The knowledge and skills of employees of the state emergency system were improved.
Employees of the State Unitary Enterprise CEMC and the SEMC participated in the exercises as observers.
