A joint XXth meeting of the RCC Commission on regulation of the use of the radio frequency spectrum and satellite orbits and its working groups was held in Minsk

From December 6 to 10, 2021, a joint XXth meeting of the Commission of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC) on the regulation of the use of the radio frequency spectrum and satellite orbits and its working groups in a hybrid format (online and offline) was held.

The event was attended by over 150 representatives of Communications Administrations - members of the Regional Commonwealth of Communications such as: the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The meeting of the RCC Commission was opened by the First Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus Pavel Nikolayevich Tkach, General Director of the RCC Executive Committee Nurudin Nasretdinovich Mukhitdinov, Chairman of the RCC Commission on RFS and SO Valery Butenko.

At the meeting of the Commission and the working groups, many issues were considered. Main of them were: preparation for the World Radiocommunication Conference and Radiocommunication Assembly in 2023; exchange, implementation of digital sound and terrestrial broadcasting in the countries of the RCC participants; a general table of frequency allocation of the RCC member countries, as well as the implementation of 5G-NR / IMT-2020 systems.
