The operation of radio-electronic equipment illegally used without permits and illegally imported through customs has been suspended in the Khorezm region

In January of this year, together with specialists from the Territorial Department of the Inspectorate "Uzkomnazorat" of the Khorezm Region under the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Department of Internal Affairs of the Khorezm Region, the Customs Department of the Khorezm Region and the Electromagnetic Compatibility Service of the Khorezm Region, operational radio monitoring activities were carried out in accordance with the Action Plan for the interaction of ministries and departments in the field of organizing control over compliance with the procedure for the purchase (transfer), sale and (or) installation (construction), import, operation of radio electronic equipment and high-frequency devices and the elimination of radio interference for 2025. 

As a result of the radio monitoring activities carried out in the Yangiarik, Urgench and Khazarasp districts and the city of Urgench of the Khorezm Region, 4 units of signal amplification devices (repeaters) used to create radio interference on the base stations of mobile operators using signal amplification devices (repeaters) that do not have certificates of conformity were identified and eliminated.

In addition, the use and import of 11 units of Baofeng “BF-888S” electronic equipment illegally used by legal entities and individuals without the appropriate permits, and 9 units illegally imported through customs, have been suspended.

For all the above circumstances, appropriate measures have been taken in accordance with the procedure established by law, and explanatory work has been carried out.
