Expert Group Meeting on the coordination of frequency assignments of land service stations of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan in Samarkand

From 24.10 to 25.10.2022 of the current year, Expert Group meeting on the coordination of frequency assignments of land service stations of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan was held in Samarkand.

The meeting was attended by specialists of SUE "CEMS", UNICON.UZ and the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The projects "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the coordination of radio frequency assignments used by civil land radio services of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan" and "Agreement on the technical basis of coordination of radio frequency assignments in the band of radio frequencies 30.0 - 4000.0 MHz used by civil land radio services of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan" were considered.

Issues related to the coordination of radio frequency assignments of ground services and registration of radio frequency assignments in BRIFIC by the communications administrations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic were also discussed at the meeting. The issue of dividing the radio frequency band 92-100 MHz (5 TVCH) between the communication Adminidtrations of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan on a bilateral basis is considered.

At the same time, specialists of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic exchanged views on ensuring the interference-free operation of communication networks in border areas.
