Today, the issue of effective implementation of a unified technical policy in the field of development and operation of gas distribution networks of our country, the creation of a modern management system based on information and communication technologies for the supply and sale of natural gas to consumers, meeting the growing needs of the population and economic entities while ensuring the rational use of energy resources is of great importance.
In order to ensure the reliability of natural gas metering in the regions, prevent unjustified losses, and establish the effective operation of the automated control system, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted a corresponding order on March 20, 2025. This order defines the composition of regional working groups and their tasks.
In the Syrdarya region, the regional working group also includes the Syrdarya region SEMC, which is tasked with measuring the coverage area of mobile communications in gasified mahallas and developing recommendations for installing SIM cards of mobile operators with the highest signal level in electronic gas meters.
To date, the regional working group has carried out work to measure the coverage area of mobile communications in 172 gasified mahallas of the Syrdarya region and, based on its recommendations, specialists from the gas supply branch “Hududgaz Sirdaryo” and Texnopark LLC continue work to install SIM cards and batteries in electronic gas meters.
